Homers by Rick Bosetti and John Mayberry carried the Blue Jays to a 2-1 victory over the A's, who went down to their sixth straight defeat. The A's scored their run in the first inning on a double by Larry Murray and single by Jeff Newman. Bosetti tied the score with a homer in the second and Mayberry won the game with his smash in the ninth. [The Sporting News]
