A single by Larry Bowa plated Bud Harrelson, who collided with Astro catcher Bruce Bochy before scoring, as the Phillies snapped a 2-2 tie with a two-run rally in the seventh inning to defeat Houston, 4-2. Harrelson coaxed a walk from J.R. Richard to start the inning. Richard had beaten the Phils five straight times. Bowa then stroked a single to left to score Harrelson and Garry Maddox followed with a double to bring in Pete Rose. [The Sporting News]
