Snapping their four-game losing streak, the Brewers edged the Rangers, 5-4. The score was 3-3 going into the eighth when Sal Bando snapped the tie with a leadoff homer. The Brewers added an insurance run on a double by Gorman Thomas and a single by Sixto Lezcano.
