Dick Davis belted the first grand-slam of his major league career, Sal Bando homered with two men on base, Charlie Moore connected with one aboard and Paul Molitor singled in each of the first four innings as the Brewers slugged their way to an 11-2 lead. Their attack then stalled while the Royals battled back to gain their victory.
