Pinch-hitter Ted Cox singled in the ninth inning, scoring Toby Harrah, to give the Indians a 4-3 victory over the Mariners. Harrah reached base with a single, moved to second when Bobby Bonds walked and took third after a deep fly to right field by Rick Manning before Cox singled to decide the game.
