Carl Yastrzemski, Fred Lynn, Dwight Evans, Butch Hobson, Bob Watson and Jim Dwyer crashed home runs and Mike Torrez, after surviving a three-run first inning, pitched a seven-hitter as the Red Sox trimmed the Tigers, 13-3.
