. . . where the 1970s live forever!

A faulty play by left fielder Al Woods in the third inning helped the Yankees score two unearned runs in a 3-1 victory over the Blue Jays. Jerry Narron reached safely when Woods misplayed his fly ball, took third on Bucky Dent's hit-and-run single and scored on an infield out by Fred Stanley. One out later, Bobby Brown singled home Dent for his first major league RBI. The lss was Lemanczyk's first to the Yankees in five career decisions. [The Sporting News]
