The Expos racked up a pair of victories over the Cardinals, 3-2 and 8-2. The first game was the completion of the suspended contest of May 17 which was halted because of traveling schedules. When the game resumed in the top of the 11th inning, Warren Cromartie hit Buddy Schultz' second pitch over the right field wall to produce the winning tally for the Expos.

The Expos exploded for five runs in the first inning of the second game. Singles by Cromartie and Rodney Scott and a walk to Gary Carter loaded the bases with two out. A single by Jerry White drove home two markers and Larry Parrish cleared the sacks with a three-run homer. Later, Cromartie hit his second homer of the night. [The Sporting News]
