A three-run homer by Al Woods backed the three-hit pitching of Tom Underwood as the Blue Jays posted a 3-1 triumph over the Yankees. In the fifth inning, Rico Carty stroked a leadoff single. John Mayberry followed with another single and Woods then cleared the left field fence with his second round-tripper of the season.
