Jim Palmer fired a four-hitter as the Orioles posted a 3-1 verdict over the Indians. Consecutive singles by Rich Dauer, Rick Dempsey and Kiko Garcia gave the Orioles a run in the third inning and they added two more in the seventh on a two-out single by Garcia, double by Pat Kelly and single by Ken Singleton.
