Roy Smalley cracked a homer and two singles, driving in three runs, to enable Jerry Koosman to pitch the Twins to a 5-2 victory over the White Sox. Smalley batted in the Twins' initial run with a single in the first inning and hit his homer after a double by Bob Randall in the third.
