Don Baylor drove in five runs with a two-run homer, double and sacrifice fly as the Angels scored 10 eighth-inning runs en route to their sixth straight victory, a 17-6 drubbing of the A's. Baylor's circuit clout came in the seventh stanza and brought the Angels back from a 6-5 deficit. Carney Lansford, who had four hits and scored four runs, singled home one eighth-inning run and A's center fielder Rickey Henderson committed two errors as 12 consecutive Angels reached base.
