A three-run homer by Roy Smalley capped a five-run fourth inning as the Twins downed the Mariners, 7-2, behind the four-hit pitching of Jerry Koosman. Ron Jackson and Rob Wilfong each hit sacrifice flies before Smalley's blast into the right field seats.
