. . . where the 1970s live forever!

A three-run rally in the sixth inning lifted the White Sox to a 5-4 verdict over the Rangers. The Sox trailed, 4-2, when singles by Jorge Orta and Lamar Johnson and an RBI double by Chet Lemon cut the margin to 4-3.

Claudell Washington received an intentional walk to load the bases, but Greg Pryor was hit by a pitch to force home the tying run. The winning run crossed the plate when Milt May bounced into a double play. [The Sporting News]
