The White Sox finished their three-game series sweep of the Rangers, posting a 5-3 victory, as rookie Steve Trout went the distance for the second time in four starts. The score was 3-3 in the seventh when, with one out, consecutive singles by Alan Bannister, Junior Moore and Chet Lemon put the White Sox ahead, 4-3.
