. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Gorman Thomas hit two homers and Sal Bando and Dick Davis added one apiece, slugging the Brewers to a 10-3 victory over the Indians. The crowd of 33,731 at the game boosted the Brewers' attendance over the million mark at the earliest date in the club's history.

Thomas hit his first homer of the game following a double by Davis in the first inning, and connected again in the third after Don Money was safe on an error and Davis walked. One out later, Bando also hit for the circuit. A homer by Davis accounted for two of the Brewers' final four runs in the sixth. [The Sporting News]
