The White Sox took both ends of a doubleheader from the Rangers, 9-6 and 5-4. In the opener, a three-run homer by Lamar Johnson in the fifth inning erased a 4-3 Ranger bulge and gave the Chisox a lead they never relinquished.

A solo homer by Che tLemon broke a 3-3 tie in the sixth inning of the second game and the Pale Hose added an insurance marker in the eighth frame. [The Sporting News]
