A two-run homer by Cliff Johnson in the ninth inning lifted the Indians to a 4-2 victory over the Twins. Johnson's blast scored Mike Hargrove, who had singled to lead off the frame. Rick Wise yielded four hits and two runs in the first inning but blanked the Twins the rest of way to record his 10th win while going the distance for the fourth time this season.
