A pair of homers by Lance Parrish and a homer and single by Steve Kemp produced four runs as the Tigers downed the Blue Jays, 5-4. Parrish connected for the circuit in the second and fourth innings. Kemp drove in a run with a single in the third and added a homer in the fifth. The Tigers scored what proved to be their winning run on a single by Champ Summers in the eighth. [The Sporting News]
