Completing the three-game series sweep, the Orioles captured a 5-2 victory from the Brewers. The Orioles took a 3-0 lead in the first inning on singles by Al Bumbry, Rich Dauer, Eddie Murray and John Lowenstein and a sacrifice fly by Doug DeCinces.

Ken Singleton drove in a run with a double in the third and Dauer blasted a homer in the ninth. Dennis Martinez picked up his 14th victory with his 13th complete game of the season. [The Sporting News]
