Erupting for four runs in the ninth inning, the Brewers dealt the Orioles their fourth straight defeat, 8-4. The winning rally began when Don Money singled with one out and moved to second on a wild pitch. After advancing on an infield hit by Cecil Cooper, Money scored on a sacrifice fly by Gorman Thomas.

Following a walk to Ben Oglivie, a double by Sixto Lezcano plated two more runs and a single by Sal Bando drove home another. Oglivie also had a homer in the game among the Brewers' 14 hits, while the Orioles' eight included homers by Benny Ayala and Ken Singleton. [The Sporting News]
