A pinch-homer by Ben Oglivie with two out in the bottom of the ninth lifted the Brewers to a 5-4 triumph over the Royals, snapping the Royals' five-game winning skein. The Royals had tied the score at 4-4 in the top of frame on a homer by Amos Otis. Jim Slaton went the route for the 10th time this season and recorded his 12th victory. [The Sporting News]
