Heroics by Joaquin Andujar carried the Astros to a 2-1 triumph over the Expos. The pitcher unfurled a four-hitter and hit a two-run inside-the-park homer. After Art Howe singled with one out in the second inning and Alan Ashby struck out, Andujar lined his first career homer over the head of center fielder Andre Dawson and raced around the bases to score without a play at the plate.
