A three-run homer by John Wockenfuss and solo drives by Jason Thompson and Ed Putman helped carry the Tigers to a 9-2 victory over the Mariners. Wockenfuss' wallop followed singles by Tom Brookens and Jerry Morales with two out in the third inning.
