Four homers -- two by Bobby Grich and one each by Dan Ford and Rod Carew -- powered the Angels to a 7-5 victory over the Blue Jays, snapping a three-game losing streak. Ford homered in the first inning.

After the Blue Jays twice held a lead, the Angels tied the score at 3-3 in the fourth when Rick Miller was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded. Grich broke the tie with his first homer of the game in the sixth and Carew followed with a two-run smash in the same stanza. Grich added his second homer in the seventh. [The Sporting News]
