Bobby Grich hit a homer and two singles, driving in three runs, to pace the Angels to a 4-2 victory over the Blue Jays. Grich's round-tripper in the fourth inning gave the Angels a 2-0 lead. After the Blue Jays came back to tie the score, Grich broke the deadlock with a run-scoring single in the sixth. Don Aase, making the first relief appearance of his career, shut out the Jays over the last 3 2/3 innings and gained credit for the victory. [The Sporting News]
