A five-run fifth inning capped by a three-run homer by Willie Horton enabled the Mariners to keelhaul the Blue Jays, 7-4. Horton's blast, his 22nd of the season, followed singles by Ruppert Jones and Bruce Bochte and gave the victory to Mike Parrott, who turned in his eighth complete game of the campaign.
