. . . where the 1970s live forever!

John Mayberry belted two homers and Rick Cerone drove in five runs as the Blue Jays flew to a 9-3 victory over the Angels. The Jays scored three times in the second inning on a solo shot by Mayberry, double by Rick Bosetti, walk to Al Woods and two-run double by Cerone.

Mayberry drilled another round-tripper in the fifth and Cerone blasted a two-run shot in the sixth. Cerone got credit for his fifth RBI in the seventh on a bases-loaded walk. [The Sporting News]
