Notching his 11th straight victory and 51st career shutout, Tom Seaver pitched the Reds to an 8-0 triumph over the Mets. The game was scoreless until the seventh inning when the Reds tallied twice on a double by Hector Cruz and singles by Dave Collins and Joe Morgan.
