. . . where the 1970s live forever!

After scoring in the second inning, Greg Luzinski knocked in a run with a double in the 10th to give the Phillies a 2-1 victory over the Braves. In the second, Luzinski singled and crossed the plate on singles by Larry Bowa and Nino Espinosa. Joe Nolan batted in the tying run with a triple in the Braves' half. In the 10th, Bake McBride beat out an infield hit, took second on a sacrifice and moved to third on a groundout by Pete Rose before Luzinski lashed his double. [The Sporting News]
