Ken Singleton homered and singled, driving in three runs, to lead the Orioles to a 5-3 victory over the Red Sox. Singleton's homer tied the score at 2-2 in the third inning. His single with the bases loaded in the fifth knocked in two runs to put the Orioles ahead and Eddie Murray followed with a double to add an extra tally. [The Sporting News]
