After winning only three games with the Mets last year, Jerry Koosman notched his 20th victory by pitching the Twins to a 5-0 whitewashing of the Brewers. It was the first time the Brewers were blanked all season. The southpaw recorded his 10th complete game and struck out three. One strikeout victim was Gorman Thomas, who tied the A.
