. . . where the 1970s live forever!

Pounding out 12 hits off five Milwaukee pitchers, the Blue Jays enjoyed a home-opening 11-2 rout of the Brewers. The Jays jumped to a 2-0 lead in the first inning when Roy Howell followed a two-out single by John Mayberry with a blast over the right field fence. They added two more in the second on an RBI grounder by Alfredo Griffin and run-scoring single by Rick Bosetti. A hit batsman, error and wild pitch contributed to the Jays' four-run fourth.
