Two wild pitches by Bobby Castillo enabled the Astros to score the go-ahead run in a 7-4 victory over the Dodgers. Trailing, 3-2, the Astros began the seventh inning with the tying tally on a pass to Joe Morgan and singles by Jose Cruz and Enos Cabell.

Castillo relieved Dave Goltz and uncorked his wild pitches, one allowing Cruz to take third and the other permitting him to cross the plate. The Astros clinched the decision with three more runs in the eighth. [The Sporting News]
