J.R. Richard yielded only one hit -- a single on a slow infield roller by Reggie Smith in the fourth inning -- and pitched the Astros to a 2-0 victory over the Dodgers. The Astros' fastball pitcher struck out 12 and beat the Dodgers for the 13th straight time dating back to June 23, 1976.
