Appearing in the starting lineup for the first time this season, Mike Easler cracked two homers and drove in four runs as the Pirates defeated the Expos, 5-3. The Pirates scored four times in their first turn at bat. Omar Moreno tripled and scored on a single by Tim Foli. After Dave Parker singled, Easler blasted a round-tripper.
