Scattering five hits in a route-going performance, Steve Rogers pitched the Expos to a 3-2 triumph over the Pirates. The Expos' first run came on a leadoff homer by Tony Bernazard in the fourth inning. Rowland Office followed with a triple and scored on a groundout by Ellis Valentine.
