Alfredo Griffin hit two triples plus a single as the Blue Jays' leading batter in a 5-3 victory over the Brewers. Griffin opened the game with a triple and scored on an infield out by Rick Bosetti. Griffin's single plated a Blue Jay run in the second. After the Brewers tied the score, Ernie Whitt batted in a run with a single in the fourth and Griffin followed with his second triple of the game to clinch the decision. [The Sporting News]
