Roy Smalley cracked three hits in three official trips, including his sixth homer of the season, to pace the Twins to a 10-3 victory over the Mariners. One of Smalley's hits literally knocked Mariner starter Mike Parrott out of the game. A one-hop smash by Smalley struck Parrott, who was taken to the hospital with a severe groin bruise.
