With Doug DeCinces and Lee May contributing consecutive doubles, the Orioles rallied for five runs in the eighth inning and defeated the Rangers, 7-5. Trailing, 4-2, the Orioles loaded the bases with a single by Eddie Murray, double by Benny Ayala and pass to pinch-hitter Pat Kelly.

DeCinces then hit his double for two runs to tie the score and May followed with another two-bagger to put the Orioles in front. Rich Dauer capped the rally with a single, driving in May with the fifth run. [The Sporting News]
