. . . where the 1970s live forever!

The Blue Jays set a club record by winning their fifth consecutive game, beating the Angels, 7-3. The Jays got two runs in their first turn at bat on a double by Rick Bosetti and homer by Al Woods. Otto Velez cracked a two-run round-tripper in the third and a bases-loaded single by Damaso Garcia produced another pair of tallies in the sixth. [The Sporting News]
