Driving in five runs, Jim Morrison paced the White Sox to a 10-6 victory over the Rangers. Morrison accounted for two runs with a double in the third inning when the White Sox took a 5-1 lead. After the Rangers tied the game at 5-5, the White Sox regained the lead with two runs in the eighth on singles by Morrison and Harold Baines, an error by Bump Wills and single by pinch-hitter Mike Squires.
