A pass to Terry Puhl with the bases loaded and two out in the 11th inning handed the Astros a 3-2 victory over the Braves. Jose Cruz led off the frame with a single and Enos Cabell walked. After a sacrifice by Dave Bergman, Alan Ashby was passed intentionally to load the bases. Pinch-hitter Rafael Landestoy forced Cruz at the plate for the second out.
