Jim Kern replaced Fergie Jenkins on the hill for the Texans and struck out Ken Singleton but then hit Eddie Murray with a pitch. Graham followed with a single to score Kelly, breaking a 2-2 tie. Murray also tallied when center fielder Mickey Rivers misplayed the ball. [The Sporting News]
