The Angels snapped a six-game losing streak with a 13-7 thumping of the Indians. Dave Skaggs, obtained from Baltimore and making his first appearance in a California uniform, led the attack with a homer, two singles and five RBIs. Mike Hargrove extended his batting streak to 22 games with a single for the Indians, who also had homers by Toby Harrah and Tom Veryzer. [The Sporting News]
