Rod Carew drove in three runs and Larry Harlow and Bobby Grich added two RBIs apiece as the Angels walloped the Royals, 11-1. The Angels piled up eight runs in the third inning in a kayo of Rich Gale, who was pinned with his fifth straight defeat.
