The Twins rallied for two runs in the eighth inning and defeated the Brewers, 4-3, with the victory going to Jerry Koosman, who made one of his infrequent relief appearances. Ken Landreaux walked to open the eighth, took second on a balk by Bob McClure and crossed the plate on a double by Roy Smalley, tying the score at 3-3.
