Completing the three-game series sweep, the Dodgers stopped the Pirates, 2-0. The Dodgers scored in the sixth inning on a homer by Steve Garvey and added an insurance marker in the eighth on singles by Ron Cey, Gary Thomasson and Bill Russell.
