Pete Falcone and Neil Allen combined on a four-hitter as the Mets registered a 5-1 triumph over the Astros. The Mets scored twice in the second inning as John Stearns led off with a walk, stole second, advanced to third when third baseman Enos Cabell booted a grounder by Doug Flynn and tallied on a single by Falcone.
