Although rapped for 11 hits, Bill Lee was able to travel the route and pitch the Expos to a 7-4 victory over the Reds. The Expos collected only four hits in the game but were able to score five runs in the first inning on four walks and two doubles. Ellis Valentine knocked in two runs with a double and after the Expos loaded the bases, Warren Cromartie cleared the sacks with another two-bagger. [The Sporting News]
